Bonjour Atlanta has been a wonderful experience for my 9th grade daughter. Her French teacher suggested tutoring offered at the school. She tried this a few times but it was ineffective (for her) due to the group environment and lack of 1-1 attention. We then had a recommendation to try Bonjour Atlanta, a convenient walk from the school. She enjoys walking up one block from school, right after school, having a fresh European treat, working with Moji and practicing/improving her French language skills.
Besides the friendship she has developed with Moji, she really enjoys being there each week. She often comes out laughing, telling me a funny story about their tutoring session and cultural differences that they laugh about and learn from. She has not only improved her speaking and writing skills substantially (even her teacher has commented on what a difference she has made in class participation and overall language improvement), the confidence she has gained has strengthened her love for the French culture and language.
Moji is very flexible and a joy to work with. The cafe is a wonderful, positive learning environment to enrich and further develop the skills taught at school. Moji will reach out to the teacher for feedback on strengths and challenges and knows the AIS Moodle, Edmudo and assessment process so she is able to guide also in the requirements of projects and assignments.
I would encourage anyone at any level to try Bonjour Atlanta for hands on coaching, mentoring and in general a great enrichment to learning a second language.
Dear Moji and Kouros,
We are very excited about the progress that our daughter has made in French since she started her tutoring sessions with Moji this year. Her reading has progressed nicely and best of all she loves going to BoNjour Cafe to see Moji and eat the snacks so she never complains about doing her homework!
I have also benefited greatly from my lessons with Kouros. It is great having such a conveniently located, comfortable place to learn. Thanks so much for your excellent teaching and flexibility.
